AWS ACQUIRES DUCKDB IN MAJOR DATA ANALYTICS MOVE

Amazon Web Services has acquired DuckDB, the open-source analytical database engine. The deal strengthens AWS's data analytics portfolio and brings the popular in-process OLAP database under the cloud giant's umbrella.
