CD SALES SURGE 45% AS PHYSICAL MEDIA ROARS BACK

CD sales reached 17.5 million units in the first half of 2026, a 45.7% jump from the same period last year, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Revenue climbed 58.6% to $171.1 million.
