EVGO BUILDS TESLA SUPERCHARGERS UNDER LICENSE

EVgo, one of the largest EV charging networks in North America, is now producing Tesla's latest Supercharger model. The V4 units will be listed directly in Tesla's navigation system, making them discoverable to Tesla drivers. The chargers feature dual connector compatibility—supporting both Tesla's NACS standard and the CCS1 connector used by other manufacturers. This dual-plug approach reflects the industry's ongoing standardization efforts as NACS gains broader adoption. The partnership expands Tesla's charging infrastructure without requiring the company to handle all manufacturing and deployment itself. For EVgo, the deal provides access to Tesla's customer base and reinforces its position in the rapidly expanding DC fast-charging market.
