OPERA ADDS BROWSER CONNECTOR FOR AI CHATBOTS

Browser Connector lets users leverage AI chatbots without switching tabs or windows. The feature provides ChatGPT and Claude access to the content users are currently browsing, allowing the assistants to answer questions with relevant context from open pages. The integration is free and available immediately. Users can enable it through the AI Services section of the Settings menu in both Opera One and Opera GX browsers. The move positions Opera alongside other browsers adding AI capabilities. As the browser market increasingly incorporates AI tools, Opera's approach focuses on seamless integration rather than developing its own chatbot. This allows users to choose between OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude based on preference.
