The SwitchBot Bot Rechargeable performs the same tasks as its predecessor, automating physical button presses on devices like light switches, door locks, and appliances. The primary difference lies in its power source: a built-in battery charged via USB-C instead of replaceable AAs.
SwitchBot will continue selling the original battery-powered model alongside the new rechargeable variant, giving customers choice based on their preferences and use cases.
The rechargeable version is available now through SwitchBot's official online store and Amazon. Pricing and battery life specifications were not immediately disclosed in the announcement.
