UK VPN USAGE DOUBLES AFTER PORN AGE CHECKS

Virtual private network usage in the UK nearly doubled to 2.2 million users following the introduction of age verification laws for adult websites in July 2025, according to an Ofcom report. The regulator found evidence of children using VPNs to circumvent the age restrictions.
