The US Treasury Department has sanctioned BitBank, an Iranian cryptocurrency exchange, for allegedly funneling hundreds of millions of dollars to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and facilitating Iran's toll collection scheme in the Strait of Hormuz.
