The Indoor Cam Pan offers 360-degree horizontal rotation and 103-degree vertical tilt, allowing users to monitor multiple angles of a room. The distinguishing feature is its motorized lens that retracts fully into the camera's housing, physically blocking the lens from recording.
This addresses a common concern with always-on home security cameras: trust that the device isn't recording when you don't want it to. Rather than relying solely on software controls, the retractable lens provides mechanical assurance of privacy.
The camera undercuts Wyze's existing Cam Pan v3, which costs $44.98. Wyze has built its brand on affordable smart home devices, and the Indoor Cam Pan continues that strategy while adding a privacy-focused feature increasingly expected in home security products.
